Sharing a lovemaking for classical music, as well as electronic and ambient techno, duo Telefon Tel Aviv (Josue Eustis and Charles Cooper) formed in 1999 in New Orleans. After a four-song demo made its manner to observational electronic label Hefty records, the duette released their debut full-length, Fahrenheit Fair Enough, in September 2001. In addition to this recording, Telefon Tel Aviv has contributed to several other projects, including Slicker (too on Hefty) and remixes for Nine Inch Nails' Things Falling Apart EP. Also in 2001, the duette composed the score for New Port South, a feature celluloid by Kyle Cooper (manager of the primary deed sequence to Seven-spot and fall through of Imaginary Forces, a Los Angeles pattern firm).
